Authenticate Team ("we," "us," or "our") has developed the Rakaat Counter app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by Authenticate Team at no cost and is intended for use as is.

The app uses the following permissions for specific functionalities:

1. Proximity Sensor: The app accesses the device's proximity sensor to detect distance. This is used strictly to count "Sajdah" (prostrations) and "Rakaat" during prayer. No sensor data is recorded, transmitted, or stored permanently; it is processed in real-time.

2. Wake Lock (Screen Control): The app uses the WAKE_LOCK permission. This allows the app to keep the screen active during prayer so you can see the counter, or to turn the screen off (Battery Saver mode) when the proximity sensor is covered, to save battery.

3. Vibration: The app uses the vibration motor to provide haptic feedback when a count is registered or a Tasbeeh cycle is completed.

4. Local Storage: The app uses your device's internal storage (SharedPreferences) to save your prayer history (dates, times, and counts) and your settings preferences. This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app or use the "Delete History" feature within the app.

Data Log

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we do not collect data log information. The app does not use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics or Firebase) that track user behaviour.

Service Providers

The app utilizes the Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine provided by your Android operating system to announce prayer counts. This is a native function of your device and does not transmit audio data to us.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that since no data is transmitted to our servers, your data remains as secure as your physical device.

In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
